Singer Portable has taken a swipe at colleague Olamide, claiming he was instrumental in giving Olamide international recognition.
In a live performance, Portable stated, “Olamide didn’t shoot Zazzu video with me, he didn’t stand alongside me in the video. I was the one that gave Olamide international recognition. Zazzu made Olamide. Why didn’t Olamide call me for his show?''
He added that despite his contribution to Olamide’s rise, he felt overlooked, particularly when Olamide failed to invite him to recent shows.The remarks come amid ongoing discussions in the Nigerian music industry about collaborations and recognition among top artists.
