Boxer Anthony Joshua Reportedly Survives Car Crash On Lagos-Ibadan Expressway
World renowned British/Nigerian boxer Anthony Joshua was involved in a serious road accident on the Lagos Ibadan Expressway near Makun, Ogun State, Nigeria. His Lexus SUV which was part of a two vehicle convoy, collided with a stationary truck, resulting in the deaths of two passengers.

If that is truly the case, that he is a friend of Anthony's who travelled down to Nigeria with him, then this is a very serious tragedy
Anthony will feel responsible for his death
The deceased's family might also feel that he died because he came to Nigeria
They may feel that he would not have died had he not followed Anthony Joshua to Nigeria
Poor Anthony, he may even struggle with survivor's guilt
Just imagine convincing your friend to come to Nigeria with you for Detty December, only for him to end up dead

When you are speeding, it impairs you from being able to tell if a vehicle is moving or not

When another vehicle is moving ahead of you; your brain estimates the distance between your vehicle and that vehicle; and the speed at which the vehicle is moving; and makes you drive at a speed which will ensure that you do not hit it
So unless the other vehicle breaks unexpectedly, you will not crash into it
But when a vehicle is not moving; and yet you misunderstand the situation and think it is moving; you will drive at it with the same speed you will drive behind a moving vehicle; which will cause you to crash into it

When you are speeding excessively, your eyes and your brain cannot quickly tell the speed at which a vehicle ahead of you is moving, or whether it is actually even moving at all
So you may miscalculate the time and the distance between your vehicle and the other vehicle which can cause you to crash into it
That is why all over the world, speeding vehicles regularly crash into stationary vehicles
It almost happened to me as a front seat passenger
The driver did not know that the vehicle ahead of us had broken down, he thought it was moving, so he was driving at it with speed
Fortunately I had passed that route previously so drew his attention to it
If not, we would have driven straight into electricity poles pointing at us from the back of the truck
That would have been a gory sight indeed

They must be overspending, don't know why we don't like to obey simple health and safety rules. This thing is in most of our blood. Adhering to road safety speed limit rules can safe a lot of life.

The way he is dressed without any shirt tells me the vehicle was likely full of excitement before the accident. Young, rich, and off the high of a successful year, likely feeling invincible and look at this.
