Senior officials have indicated that the refinery introduced this price cut to assist in reducing transportation expenses ahead of the Christmas period, when millions of Nigerians travel across states to reunite with family. The company explained that this pricing adjustment demonstrates their, “commitment to make the season memorable for citizens and reduce cost pressures on road transport operators.”
With interstate travel expected to rise before Christmas and New Year celebrations, the reduced price should lead to lower retail fuel prices in various states, particularly in the North and South-East regions, where logistics expenses often increase during the holidays.

Only in the absence of petroleum subsidy can this happen. Boldness is required for leadership. And to think the naira to naira exchange crystallized only this year.
ReplyDeleteIf this goes on, petroleum workers strikes may be quite unpopular.

ReplyDeleteVery good
Good news.
ReplyDelete699 from 98 naira per liter. And you all think this is good for a country that is richly blessed with oil and gas. Una never suffer tire.
ReplyDeleteEven around the world, what has been their inflation rate from those years we were buying fuel at ‘98’ Naira?? Be fair to urself, if you knew anything about the value of money in economics, u’d know that money is bound to have inflation. From the years you have bought at 98 Naira, you didnt you grow? Hw many times has ur salary been increased? Abi u still earn what u used to earn? If that is the case in ur life, May the almighty bring you growth. Amin
DeleteYou further bring down the price. The subsidy has been removed FROM DAY ONE as you demanded and campaigned for. The price has continued to reduce. If you don't like it, build your own refinery and reduce for free.
DeleteWow 🥰
