Taking to the X platform, he noted that even when he is not feeling it, he keeps managing. He also noted that many see him and think that he is stupidly in love but they don't understand that it takes effort.
He wrote;
"When people see me and my wife of over 46yrs, dem go think say we are stupidly in Love. Humm. it's not like dat ooo.
Some go say, 'it's good to marry your friend'.
Some go say, 'Dis na how I want my marriage to be' referring to our longevity.
True true, no marriage is 'made in heaven'
I emphasize that successful unions require hard work, commitment, and cultivation on Earth, no union is
divinely perfect from the start.
Marriage is a fragile thing dat can easily crack. lt is something built through effort, not just found.
Make una no dey look us like say we are free of problems ooooo.
As I dey so, am a champion manager, even when sometimes wey I no dey feel am again, I keep pushing.
Anyway, for us, we have decided to both die here. Na over try dey worry me sef."

The wife is a full blooded USA citizen, right?
Tomorrow, somebody will come tell that American women stay only in utopian marriages.
And that her/his marriage is even better than a combined utopian European-American marriage.
Whenever you hear anybody always shouting of a sweet marriage, wait to hear from the person's partner before you Awwwww or tap in your heart.
Those who work the most in making their marriages blossom are always too busy at it to climb the rooftops to shout about it.
Charly Boy has said it all. In 2026, no let anybody spoil your working marriage with ...
It takes effort, God's strength and wisdom to attain this far.
ReplyDeleteMore years together, amen
She married Charles Oputa and his alter ego - Charlie Boy.
