The content creator stated that he bought a Range Rover Sport for over ₦30 million, hoping to enjoy the luxury of owning a high-end vehicle in Nigeria, but the excitement did not last long.
According to him, mechanical problems arose, forcing him to spend a significant amount on repairs. He stressed that approximately ₦10 million was spent fixing the car within just three to four months, but the problems persisted.
He further explained that the situation became unbearable, leaving him with no option but to sell the vehicle for far less than its purchase value.
Zicsaloma revealed that he eventually sold the Range Rover for ₦11 million, despite the money spent on repairs.
He said, “I think it’s buying a Range Rover Sport. That was one of my worst financial mistakes.
“When I bought that car, I bought it for over 30 million. I sold it 11 million in 3 or 4 months time. And I spent about 10 million naira fixing the car in those three months.
“So it’s just like I threw 30 million and got back 1 million, with a lot of stress.”

That was a real bad market
ReplyDeleteWhat happened to insurance or warranty?
DeleteDespite the numerous complaints about this car, why do people keep buying it?
ReplyDeleteHianest!
They probably didn’t hear about it.
DeleteHe should arrest those who sold the car to him..
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely
DeleteHmmmm. What a great loss.
ReplyDeleteWhen buying luxury, Lexus and it's cheaper sister, Toyota are the way to go as they are far better engineered. Buying a second hand luxury vehicle line he did is a nightmare but buying from brands like Range Rover, jaguar, Mercedes, Rolls-Royce, Bentley, Porsche, Audi, etc, just keep your Uber app up to date and be very respectful to your mechanic who will finally help you sell it.
ReplyDeleteMy husband bought a Land Rover, and before you knew it, it's was one problem to the other. He spent hundreds of thousands in repairs before his mechanic helped in selling off the jeep
Deletethat's because the cars sold are refurbished, if you buy a real luxury car then 30million naira is too small because they cost about 50k euros upwards, and they come with 3-5years guarantee, you go for inspection once a year or after driving a certain amount of km.
DeleteSorry for your ordeal Mr. Zicsaloma.
ReplyDeleteWow..... these skit makers/ content creators dey touch better money o.
Real financial loss.
ReplyDeleteWhat a huge loss😔
ReplyDeleteWhat A Huge Loss

Hello iya Boys
Buying any used car is risky. Plus many stolen cars end up on the African and Indian markets and the tears and frustrations of those ppl who lost their vehicles put bad energy on them. Buying brand new is not in everyone’s budget so the used car market will always thrive with shady vehicles and shady sales ppl.
ReplyDeleteI know that feeling. Thank God the lessons are learnt.
ReplyDeleteI have two range rovers in my life time and both brought me great financial losses! I spent £6700 on my evoque once and yet I couldn’t drive the car home! Land Rover almost ruined me. Now I have gone back to a Mercedes and I now have rest of mind. Once it is due for MOT next year, I’ll trade it in. Range Rover is devourer 😂
