AFCON 2025: Cameroon Beats Mozambique 2-1

Cameroon staged a dramatic 2-1 comeback victory over Mozambique on Wednesday December 31, 2025 in an AFCON 2025 Group F match. The scoring began with Mozambique’s Geny Catamo netting the opener in the 23rd minute. Cameroon equalized five minutes later in the 28th minute with an own goal by Mozambique’s Jone Nené. The winning goal came in the 55th minute from Christian Kofane, securing Cameroon’s place in the knockout stage.
