ReplyDeleteThe colonial masters really messed with Nigeria!
Why is it that the Prime Minister in Great Britain cannot unilaterally depose their Monarch. Equally Mayors cannot depose Dukes and Earls.
The colonial masters ensured that Nigerians will never stick together. The same way they introduced warrant officers /chiefs from the dregs of the society is the same way they manipulate and plant their stooges as political leaders in Nigeria.
Why would an elected politician with at most a two term of 8 years be vested with the powers to sack a traditional ruler? 🙄
It's amazing that on a story that reported the gory killing of 4 people because of village crisis, the only thing that matters to you is the deposing of the traditional ruler.
DeleteHave you considered that this has been a long-standing issue, so the government and security agencies know the role each of those people played in the fracas.
