  3. I hope this is a genuine reunification for them. Let bygones be bygones and don’t stir the pot because it will only bring up bad feelings. Move forward not backward. I wish them well.

  4. Boys will always look for their daddies no matter what happens in between. Women let that sink in, don’t be forming super woman and playing daddy roles. Eventually, they wud mend fences.

    1. My bestie I don't really think so because I have many stepies out there that I don't even know even after many years my dad died

    2. I hope boys truly look for their dads and find them and like Asake, realise these men were no good and all they do is bring trouble and strife to their children's lives. He has bought his dad a house and has put him on salary but he is still bearing his mother's name and identity. Yes the dad is reaping where he did not sow but he will never eat that harvest in peace.

    4. 16:44, i made the first comment. Ur comment cracked me up real big. It is well. Of course not all kids will look for their dad, but i bet you, majority will, and rules are made on generality not on exceptions.

  5. God bless you, Asake! You are doing well... Whoever is advising you these days means well for...
Even the Bible says: "...Children honor your father and your mother, that your days might be long, and you will prosper..."

    1. I like the reconciliation but Asake is smart. It is better not to let a deadbeat dad ruin your life twice. Yes he will look after his father because it is good for his brand. A true personal relationship is another matter.

    2. The Bible also says, "FATHERS PROVOKE NOT YOUR CHILDREN TO WRATH /ANGER ..." *Ephesians 6:4, Colossians 3:21

There is two-side to a coin.

  8. Apparently the father was never a deadbeat. The father raised him while his mom left and remarried someone else. Its always easy to assume men are deadbeat but it's not always.
