> *11 The LORD said to him, “Who gave human beings their mouths? Who makes them deaf or mute? Who gives them sight or makes them blind? Is it not I, the LORD? 12 Now go; I will help you speak and will teach you what to say.”*
The fact that we are unable to do something does not mean the Holy Spirit is unable to do it.
God is aware of our shortcomings.
He is aware of your short temper. Apostle James and John were so short tempered even Jesus had to nickname them sons of thunder. Yet he still used them.
He is aware of your weaknesses with women. Samson and David had the same weakness too.
He is aware that you quickly break your promises. Apostle Peter had that weakness too. He told the Lord he will die with him, yet a few hours later he denied even knowing him. He told Apostle Paul that it was okay to eat at the same table with Gentiles then some people came from Jerusalem and he quickly stopped eating with the Gentiles. Jesus didn’t demote him from his office.
He knows your struggle with depression. John the Baptist had the same trait and it didn’t stop God from using him.
Every weakness we have and hide from people is completely open to the Lord. He knows your struggles with alcohol, masturbation, pornography. He knows your skills at procrastination. He knows your tendency to talk too much. He knows your struggle with unforgiveness and bitterness. He knows you are hopelessly jealous of everything and everyone. He knows you are too hard hearted. He knows. He created us all!
He sees our weaknesses. He can stand it. He allowed it so we can depend on him completely. He permitted it so we can pair up with other people who are strong in the areas that we are weak, but weak in the areas that we are strong.
For every weakness Moses had, God had prepared a strength in Aaron.
When we are ready to do what God says, He will bring our Aaron along.
