Steph was a psychology graduate and worked as a support worker. She and Adegbola met through their jobs and had a short relationship. The court heard that Adegbola showed controlling behavior, which led Steph to end things. He could not accept the breakup and became obsessed with her.
On the evening of October 21, 2025, Adegbola went to Steph's home in Mapperley, Nottinghamshire. He had bought two knives ahead of time. He attacked her, stabbing her in the neck and cutting her jugular vein.
She died at the scene despite efforts to save her.
Colleagues raised the alarm after getting worrying messages and not being able to reach her. After the attack, Adegbola left the scene, got rid of the weapon, his clothes, and Steph's phone.
He traveled to different places before turning himself in to police the next day.
The judge, Nirmal Shant KC, described the killing as brutal and planned.
She told Adegbola that Steph was in the prime of her life and his actions took away her future. Steph's family remembered her as a kind, loving person with a big heart who wanted to help others as a psychologist.
They should have sentenced him to death, stupid Nigerian man, he carried his "stupid mentality controlling and if I don't have her, no one else will have her" attitude on women to abroad, he will never smell that at least 25 years imprisonment, he will rot in jail, die there and after rotting in jail and die, he will also rot in hell.
ReplyDeleteA beast in human form.
ReplyDeleteDeath by hangman’s noose is what he deserves.
This is the third time I'm reading about a man slaughtering his woman/wife. What is really going on? 😔
ReplyDelete*deep sigh*
ReplyDeleteThis one deserves dead by hanging. Wicked man.
ReplyDeleteAnimal in human skin, dead man walking. You can never be the same if you ever take someone's life.
ReplyDeleteGood for him..
ReplyDeleteThe most dangerous thing a woman will ever do in her life is to get involved with the wrong man.
ReplyDeleteWicked soul.
ReplyDeleteEvil..
ReplyDeleteAnd this story shows that leaving a violent and merderous man doesn’t guarantee that you will live. A man who wants to k!ll a woman will do so whether she is involved with him or whether she has broken it off. Many left and still lost their lives. Some were wiped out along with their children. Some went as far as moving to a different city, state, and even country and still lost their lives. And even those who decided not to get involved with men because of what they had seen were viewed with contempt for not getting into relationships with them, this contempt amplifies if the woman is beautifu or successful, these women who chose peace and freedom still lost their lives for turning down a man who believed the purpose of a woman is to get involved with them and give birth to their children. It’s a cold world.
ReplyDeleteMany also left and were saved!
DeleteUseless man that should have been miscarried. These men bring their terrible uncultured and entitled mentality and behaviour to the UK and blame Nigerian women for their poor decisions and laziness. Now this one has kpaid a bright young woman with her whole life ahead of her. I always advice young girls to avoid the demographics abroad. All they do is whine and complain and abuse women.
ReplyDeleteLook at the age gap. 40 year old going for a 23 year old girl shoes there's something clearly wrong with the man. Young girls date close to your age.
