One of the truly crazy things in life, is people deciding how you should mourn your loved ones. LoL Just cos you cry and roll on the floor for weeks, to mourn your loved one, doesn't mean others must do so to prove that they loved theirs. As a way of mourning, some isolate themselves. Some socialize. Some just wanna party to forget the pain. Some might even want to travel far away to take their minds off it. And so on. Whichever way you choose to mourn, is your business, as long as you don't hurt yourself or anyone else. Bottom line, stop wailing more than the bereaved. The person didn't bring the mourning to your doorstep. Why then do you feel the need to act as judge as to whether they mourned sufficiently or not? Na wa! This is also similar to a widow or widower deciding to remarry, and people start forming judge and jury on the 'acceptable' number of months or years they should wait, before remarrying. SMH..... E dey always sweet to judge matters, until e happen to us, then we go start to find reasons to justify awa own. It is well. Una Gud Morning....#ALiSpeaks
"The Lord Jesus said, “...Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink...” (Matthew 6:25). Why doesn’t He want you to think or worry about your life? It’s because He already sorted and settled everything about your life."
"The key is for you to seek only the Kingdom and then everything else He’s already done for you, or that you could ever desire, will manifest. That’s the way of the Spirit."
Prayer!!
Dear Father, thank you for making me an heir of the Kingdom. Christ is my all, and in Him, I have all things. I refuse to be anxious over material possessions, for I live in your Word and by your Spirit. My only pursuit is the expansion of your Kingdom and promotion of your righteousness to all nations, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
Heavenly Father, we are grateful for this beautiful Friday morning. Your Word says, “I will cause all My goodness to pass before you, and I will proclaim My name, the Lord, in your presence” (Exodus 33:19). Lord, we pray that your goodness will surround us and remain our portion all the days of our lives, in Jesus name. π May our families continually experience your mercy, love, and compassion every day, in Jesus name. π GOOD MORNING MY SDK FAMILY πΉπΉ
'Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled.' Matthew 5:6 NKJV
Righteousness is not an optional spiritual supplement; it's a necessity for Christian living. It's something you must desire as much as a starving man desires food and a thirsty man desires water. Are you hungry for more of Jesus? Do you have an appetite for his word? Do you long to experience the Kingdom of God? If so, Jesus says that you will be 'filled'. He will give you more of himself.
When you are hungry for righteousness, he will impart to you the power of a righteous life - which means keeping God's commandments and following the leading of the Holy Spirit day by day. The Lord will give you the power to say 'no' to offers that are not right in his eyes. And he will give you the power to say 'yes' to those things that are of eternal benefit and to manifest his power in right decisions, right actions and right words spoken at the right times, in the right situations, for the right results. The Lord will fill you with the ability to be his agent at home, at school, in your place of business, in the political arena and in church. When you hunger and thirst for righteousness, God will satisfy you with his presence, his power, and his peace. When you deeply and truly desire more of the Lord, you will receive more of the Lord to the point of being filled to overflowing.
God keeps his promises, and he'll keep this one too: 'Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled' (Matthew 5:6 NKJV). Word for Today
