Gospel Singer Chinyere Udoma Reveals She Shares A 30 Year Father-Daughter Bond With Pastor Odumeje

 Speaking during a visit to his church, she revealed that Odumeje took her in “like a father” more than 30 years ago, at a time when she was unknown, struggling, and still finding her feet in ministry and music. She said he was one of her earliest supporters, offering guidance and kindness that many never knew about until now.
Chinyere also recounted how Odumeje played a major role during a difficult period in her family. According to her, doctors had given up on her husband’s severe illness, but through prayer and support connected to the pastor, he recovered , a miracle she has referenced in some of her songs.
Using the moment to defend Odumeje against critics, she urged people not to judge him harshly, and stressed that the man she knows is someone who showed her genuine love, help, and fatherly support when she needed it most.
