    Yesterday, one of my Facebook friends asked a question about the ideal way to dispose placenta after childbirth....
    ‎I found 2 of the comments disturbing....
    ‎One said, she usually boils hers to eat. (Yuck!).
    ‎The other said, she buries hers in her compound, then plants plantain on it. (She didn't specify why. But my guess is, its got something to do with a ridiculous belief).
    ‎Nothing wey pesin nor go hear for dis Naija sha...Na wa!!

      The first might just be for notice me sake but sincere, there are many silly things have seen people do. The second might be based on his/her belief or tradition..

      In my village, you don't give placenta to anyone. It should be buried either by the father or the mother of the child where no one knows..
