The intelligence‑driven raids, carried out on Friday, April 17, 2026, targeted two locations where the drugs were stored inside residential buildings to avoid detection. A total of 19,094 cartons containing 1,909,400 bottles of codeine syrup and another 34 cartons holding 2,360,000 pills of high‑potency Tramadol 225mg were seized.
The NDLEA says the warehouses were part of a coordinated distribution network supplying Lagos and beyond.

How do these volume of drugs pass thru our land, sea or air borders without detection or connivance with security agencies???
ReplyDeleteOur people are so corrupt to the extent they don't value human life. This drugs passes through some borders the same way ammunition for bandits . And we blame tough economic situations to justify our corrupt practices. America has more oil than Nigeria and petrol is $6 per litre on average but most Americans values humans life than us despite the fact that life is very difficult for some of them like us. Everything is not about the government, but about our own social responsibility as well. Very sad for Nigerians, you need to change and do better.
