Teenage ISWAP Logistics Courier Arrested In Borno State

Troops of Operation Hadin Kai have arrested a 15‑year‑old ISWAP courier in Ngamdu after he allegedly arrived with ₦850,000 to buy logistics for fighters.

The suspect, identified as Tijjani, reportedly confessed to taking part in recent attacks on Benisheik and Ngamdu and said the attackers mobilised from Jilli, a major ISWAP hideout in Gubio LGA. 

Security sources say his arrest exposes how insurgents use teenagers to move cash, supplies, and intelligence across the Ngamdu–Benisheik axis. 

The development is coming as recent airstrikes continue to hit the Jilli corridor, believed to be a key logistics and coordination hub. Investigations are ongoing to trace the wider network and shut down remaining supply routes.
