Speaking on the Baaj and Paul podcast, she said the industry’s heavy emphasis on beauty is pushing many actresses toward body‑enhancement procedures in order to stay competitive.
She explained that although a few directors still appreciate strong acting ability, many gifted performers are overlooked because the industry has elevated beauty to an excessive level.
She added that some people with little or no acting skill now secure roles simply because of their looks.
