A Nigerian man, Paul Kavwam, recently rescued a baby boy abandoned in a bush off a hiking trail in Plateau State.
He said he was hiking when he heard a baby crying from inside the bushes. He followed the sound and found the newborn wrapped in an old cloth and left alone. He immediately rushed the child to a nearby health centre and alerted authorities.
The child is now receiving medical care.
