The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, on Thursday rejected the routine deployment of troops of the armed forces during elections, saying the Force should remain exceptional. Bauchi State Police Command has arrested four suspects in connection with two separate culpable homicide cases that claimed the lives of two persons in different parts of the state. The command’s spokesman, SP Nafiu Habib, disclosed this in a statement issued on Wednesday, saying one suspect had been arrested in connection with the killing of a 25-year-old man, while three others were apprehended over the death of a 51-year-old man allegedly attacked on accusations of witchcraft.

ReplyDeleteSetting up a panel of inquiry to Me is like medicine after death. Some persons are being paraded as the captured bandits, don't even know how authentic that is. I'd rather ask what measures are being put in place to prevent future occurence? Not after the evil deed has been done we start running helter skelter . Let common sense prevail.
