She told the Interviewer Chude Jideonwo how doctors battled to save her life and how she spent three weeks in the hospital.
Uche also talked about the trauma of losing her sister in the Sosoliso plane crash of 2005, which left her with a fear of flying for years. Uchenna further revealed the pain of becoming an orphan after losing both parents, noting how grief reshaped her life and left lasting scars.
She said: "2013... the first accident I ever had. The accident that almost took my life.
It was a Monday. I remember seeing something black, a black car. How it hit me, I don't know, and that was it.
They had to put me on oxygen and tried to revive me because I was almost gone. They were doing everything they could.
The first hospital they took me to looked into the car, saw me, and demanded ₦2 million without even assessing me. The hospital demanding ₦2 million didn't even have a CT scanning machine.
As they wanted to take me to another hospital, the ambulance was available, but the driver was nowhere to be found. I went to three different hospitals in one day.
I was in the hospital for three weeks.
When things are difficult, my mother would always say, "Mother Mary, would you allow my wine to finish?"
I am an orphan. I lost my father immediately after my white wedding.
I have a phobia of flying. It took me years to start flying again after I lost my sister."
