Former Minister Kemi Adeosun Reveals She Wants To Die Like Her Late Husband

Former Minister of Finance, Kemi Adeosun revealed that she would like to die peacefully in her sleep, just like her late husband, Adeniyi Adeosun.

She said this during his funeral service on Thursday, August 13, 2026 .
She recalled that he showed no signs of illness before he went to sleep and did not wake up.
Adeosun said she is still struggling to accept his death, especially as they had recently planned to travel every three months and enjoy life together after years of being financially careful.
She described her late husband as playful and mischievous, and that his death has left a huge void in the family.
She expressed gratitude to God for the years they shared, their children, and the support of family and friends.
