Comedian Mazi Okeke has shared more details about the painful discovery that his fiancée was cheating on him. In a new video, he walked people through exactly what happened that day.
He said he was returning home from a site visit. He got back earlier than expected. That is when he found his fiancée together with his driver.
Mazi Okeke said he confronted her right there. He asked her why she did it. According to him, she showed no remorse at all. Instead of apologizing or explaining with any regret, she started trying to turn things around and make him feel like the problem. He described it as her trying to gaslight him.
Then she said something that really hurt him. She told him he was too busy. She said he was always traveling from one state to another. In some accounts of the video, her words came across as telling him to cut down on his dreams and work because of how often he was away.
Mazi Okeke looked emotional while recounting the moment. He made it clear that the lack of apology and the way she shifted the blame onto his busy schedule broke him even more than the cheating itself.

He said he had paid her school fees from 200 level through to her final year, opened a shop for her, and built a house for her parents. He said he invested his life and money in her and now feels stupid for it.
