The glamorous celebration attracted family, close friends and several prominent figures from Tanzania’s entertainment industry. Diamond surprised Zuchu with a cash gift of US$30,000 and described it as a small amount before explaining that no money could ever match what Zuchu had given him.
He praised her with affectionate words, calling her a lady, sister, woman, mother, beautiful woman and wife. He added that carrying their child was a priceless blessing that could never be measured in monetary terms.
Diamond Platnumz’s brother Ricardo Momo also delivered an emotional speech that revealed previously unknown moments in the couple’s relationship. Ricardo disclosed that there was a time when Diamond and his brothers travelled from Dar es Salaam to Zanzibar because Diamond felt the need to make peace with Zuchu. According to him, Diamond went down on his knees while asking her to forgive him, a gesture that showed how deeply he valued their bond.
Ricardo cautioned the public against rushing to judge couples when they experience conflict. He reminded people that outsiders rarely understand the private battles and reconciliations that happen between two people who share strong emotional and physical closeness.
