JDWAN Warns That Commercial Drivers May Begin Nationwide Strike
The Joint Drivers Welfare Association of Nigeria (JDWAN) has issued a strong warning that commercial drivers across Nigeria may soon embark on a nationwide strike because the cost of running transport operations has become unbearable, and has pushed drivers to the brink.
JDWAN says rising fuel prices, multiple levies, harsh road conditions and daily extortion have made it almost impossible for drivers to survive.
