The decision followed investigations and surveillance by the Authority, which established that the affected sweepers were allegedly involved in dumping waste on the median, an area identified as a recurring waste blackspot.
LAWMA said the move is part of efforts to sustain a cleaner Lagos and deter acts that undermine the state’s waste management system. The Authority reiterated its commitment to monitoring operations and holding service providers accountable. Residents have been urged to report cases of illegal dumping to LAWMA for prompt action.
