President Bola Ahmed Tinubu assured investors that the Federal Government of Nigeria will maintain policy stability, regulatory clarity and a predictable business environment to support long‑term investment.
He said the projects combine vision, expertise and execution capacity, and promised full federal support from signing to implementation.
Governor Dapo Abiodun led the Ogun delegation, alongside top officials from the Marine and Blue Economy Ministry, Nigerian Ports Authority, Nigeria’s Embassy in France, SkyKapital and DP World.
The proposed seaport will feature a four‑kilometre berth and 18‑metre draft, easing Lagos port congestion and enabling larger vessels.
The 10,000‑hectare SEZ will serve manufacturers, boost exports and position Nigeria as a major hub for AfCFTA’s 1.4 billion‑person market.
Tinubu said the projects will create over 50,000 direct jobs, drive non‑oil exports and anchor a strategic industrial corridor supported by the Lagos–Calabar Coastal Highway, whose 28‑kilometre Ogun section is scheduled for completion this year.
He urged all partners to sustain momentum and move quickly to implementation.
