How is your day going? I just noticed something I am glad that it finally happened. I was looking forward to the day that i would be able to ignore certain things and certain people...it has happened!.. That moment where i finally realise that silence is beautiful and a loud answer.....
I know after seeing this statement, they/it will test me with comments and i will use that to see if i am right about my new attitude.....

Sometimes the best response to negativity or toxic people is silence. It is louder than any clapback, more powerful than any argument, and it shuts down chaos without you lifting a finger.
Silence protects your peace, keeps your dignity intact, and reminds people that not every energy deserves access to you.
Let me tell you something, when you stop feeding noise, it dies on its own.
Choosing silence is not weakness,naaaaaaaaaaaah. It is strategy wrapped with strength and rolled out as self‑respect.

TEACHER LIFE
Monday was our resumption meeting. I was just going with the motion. Agenda after agenda, I sat there pretending to write something while actually listing out everything I wanted to do with my class on resumption day.
In my head, I had already planned activities, little surprises, ways to make the first day exciting for my class. But I had also made up my mind. I wasn't sharing any ideas.
Not because I had none. In fact, I had plenty but I have just learnt that sometimes when you share an idea with all excitement, everyone loves it, and before you know it, you are the one planning it, organising it and somehow making sure it happens. And end up not even getting credit for a job well done.
So this time, I decided to observe. Then we got to AOB and the question.
Does anyone have any ideas on what we can do to spice up the term?
Silence. Anyone? Miss C?
I slowly looked up from my book.
''Nothing, ma. I think we should go ahead with what has already been planned for the term''.
And I went straight back to my writing.
Sometimes, experience will teach you when to speak and when to just smile and keep your ideas to yourself.
This is so sad, see how this woman just killed your zeal in doing your job...I think it is best you change schools oh....

No uziza necessary madam. Only 4 things : okpa flour, fresh red pepper, palm oil and salt.
DeleteMix it with warm water. Consistency is that of pap. Good pap o not watery pap. Tie in waterproof and drop into hot water.
The secret of Okpa ugwuoba is the leaves. If you dont have ,add a lot of pepper and palm oil.
I am an okpa expert. I ll soo. Start selling on Saturdays.
This Vincent must had Nassarawa okpa. The vilest okpa i ve ever had in my life. I was coming back from 3 weeks of camp and having okpa withdrawal syndrome so I still ate it.

I can totally relate to Miss C’s story! I remember how enthusiastic I was about being a teacher and doing everything asked of me with zeal until the day the school owner showed me why you should never do so much for them!

Took me a long time before I eventually forgave her. A really long time!
