There’s A Purpose For Your Life!!
Acts 13:36.

There’s a reason God brought you into this world at such a time as this."

Prayer!!

Dear Father, I rejoice at your purpose and calling upon my life. I walk in wisdom and spiritual understanding, fulfilling the destiny you’ve ordained for me. I refuse distractions and remain focused on accomplishing your will with excellence, courage and faithfulness, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Life is a raw, unpredictable wind; it can turn tables in one second. Life has a brutal way of pulling the chair from under those who refuse to bend. It takes exactly one second to humble the loudest voice in the room, usually when they feel most secure.

Walk into a mortuary and ask if they keep a VIP mattress reserved for the rich, the famous, or the rulers of this world. You won't find one. You will find that when breath leaves the body, titles disappear, bank alerts stop chiming, designer clothes turn to dust, and everyone lies down in the exact same silent equality. True greatness is never measured by how high you position yourself above others, but by how gently you treat humanity when you have the power to be arrogant. Pride is a very heavy and foolish garment to wear in a fragile world .

When you look closely at someone who constantly boasts, you aren’t looking at strength....you are looking at fear. We spend a lifetime building fortresses out of things we cannot keep.....We use expensive things and loud titles to build a fortress, hoping to hide from the truth that they are fragile. Only to realize that none of these things actually belong to us. They are just on loan from time.

What do you have left if life strips you of everything that can be lost in a market crash, a fire, or a sudden illness? Who are you left with? Who would be left standing in the ashes? Would there be anyone left worth knowing? What is your worth when nobody is looking at you?

True power is quiet. True power doesn't need a microphone. The sun never has to announce that it is hot, and the ocean never has to prove that it is deep. Yet humans spend lifetimes screaming to prove they matter. Loud boasting is rarely a sign of power; it is the sound of a fragile soul trying to scare away its own fears. The loudest voice in the room is usually the one most terrified of being forgotten. If your worth depends entirely on what you own or who is looking at you, then you own nothing at all. Real wealth is the peace you feel when you have nothing to prove to anyone, and the kindness you leave behind in the hearts of others. True status isn’t about how many people are under you, but how many feel safe around you.

Treating someone poorly just because you are a few steps ahead on the path is foolish, because the path ends at the same cliff for everyone. And grim reality is that we arrive into this world with empty hands, and we will leave it the exact same way.....stripped of our titles, our portfolios, our cars, and our applause. True power is not about sitting on a high throne; it is about having the strength to bend down and lift someone else up.

When you realize that the billionaire and the street sweeper are drinking from the same well of finite time, looking down on anyone ceases to make logical sense. The ground makes no distinction between the shoes of a CEO and the bare feet of a street sweeper. Life na turn by turn, but for final bus stop, nobody dey special and ground no send whether you be CEO or you dey park dirty for street. The quiet block of eternity no get any special VIP mattress put down for proud person or rich person. So sit down, take a deep breath, choose kindness over pride, because we all bleed the same red blood and end up in the exact same dust. If your wealth cannot buy back your last breath, your pride is just an expensive illusion. Stay humble, treat everyone with respect, and remember that the grandest titles and loudest achievements mean nothing in a quiet hospital ward when confronted with mortality.

DO A GOOD JOB

The first thing God did when he created Adam was to put him to work. That's because work gives us a sense of purpose, meaning and dignity. 'God put the man in the garden...to...work it' (Genesis 2:15 NCV). So Adam was a gardener.

But whether you count cash in a bank, trade futures on the Stock Exchange, flip burgers in a beach-side stand, whip up pasta specials at a five-star restaurant, fell giant timber in the forest or split and deliver firewood, coach a team, pastor a congregation, publish best-selling books, deliver newspapers in the early morning hours, star in your own television show, farm a large acreage, mow and edge neighbourhood lawns, go out on the road as a salesperson for computers, drive a truck loaded with machinery, build homes, clean swimming pools, argue cases before a judge or settle family disputes as a counsellor, always do a good job. A wise man once said: 'Every job is a self-portrait of the person who does it. Autograph your work with excellence.' The biblical character Daniel did that. And like cream, he rose to the top in Babylon. 'Daniel distinguished himself above the governors...because an excellent spirit was in him' (Daniel 6:3 NKJV).

There are no small jobs, only people who perceive them as small and become small in doing them. The Bible says: 'Lazy people want much but get little, but those who work hard will prosper' (Proverbs 13:4 NLT). So always do a good job.
