She referenced a viral video of a married woman who accompanied her husband to a hotel and brought home‑cooked food instead of paying ₦15,000 for a plate of rice. Trolls mocked the woman online, but Sharon defended her, saying, “If a woman chooses to cook for her husband, that’s her joy, not a crime.”
Sharon also mentioned her friend Ebere, who cooked coconut rice and turkey even while working abroad in London and Albania. She said Ebere finds fulfillment in cooking for her husband, while she (Sharon) gets tired sometimes and that’s perfectly fine because “women are different.”
She added, “Maybe we should learn to mind our business. If I say my name is Mrs. Faqua, that’s my name. They paid my bride price. Why should I be ashamed? It’s my personal choice.”
Sharon concluded proudly, saying she loves being called “Mrs. Faqua,” “Nwunye Shawn,” or “Mrs. Shawn Faqua.”

Everybody should be allowed to freely do what they want as long as they’re not hurting anyone
ReplyDeletePick me behaviour. Feminists fought hard to have women be addressed by their own names not that of their husbands. Its weird to want to go back to the before times but do you by all means. I answer only to my name
ReplyDeleteEvery time, "PICK ME" pick me, pick me, pick me pick me!!!

Well its pick me behaviour. When e start nah,she will want a lawyer, child support, spousal support which are all things feminists fought for.
DeleteI m a full fledged feminist but you dont see me talking about man-woman all the time.
Madam, everyone is entitled to their opinion. Mind your business and let trolls continue theirs. ๐๐๐
ReplyDeleteLiving your life for the public and expecting the public not to have an opinion is madness. Nobody knows what goes on in people houses until they decide to make it public business.
