Former Beauty Queen Anna Banner Posts About Postpartum Depression

Former beauty queen Anna Banner says that postpartum depression is not discussed enough in Nigeria.
Anna welcomed a second child a while back...

In a post on her Instagram page She wrote:
"I don’t think we talk about postpartum depression enough.
Maybe it’s the society we are in that makes it difficult for us to express ourselves freely.
Give a mama a hug today because you never can tell what’s going on behind those smiles."

  1. Postpartum depression is real.

I remember when i just gave birth to my 2nd baby, i was always crying in the bathroom, any little thing gets me irritated.

Thank God for my mother that helped me to overcome it.

  2. Postpartum depression is as real as daylight. My younger sister was sooo traumatised after having her second baby that she couldn't even bear to sleep close to the child. Thank God for His mercy she was able to gradually overcome it.

  6. Thank God another celebrity is mentioning it. Same thing that was part of Sophia Momodu’s Story Telling, that some “set” of fans were crying over. She said she went through it after her baby, not knowing what was wrong with her but d only line that caught their interest of haters was “global celebrity”, & she has included it in her Foundation’s program to her recipients. No knowledge is wasted.A whole lot of women go through Post Partum without knowing, while treating something else.
