IAUE Expels Final-Year Student Over Viral “Damaging Content” Video

The Senate of Ignatius Ajuru University of Education (IAUE), Rumuolumeni, Rivers State, has expelled final‑year student Chiamaka Nora Onyewuenyi over a viral social‑media video.

Nora, who had already completed her final exams in the Department of English and Literary Studies, claimed in an online interview that her project topic was “Citizenship” and that her supervisor was writing the project for her after allegedly collecting N150,000.
The university said the claim was false, noting that no such project topic exists in the department. IAUE described her video as “damaging content creation” capable of tarnishing the school’s image.
The management says that Nora later admitted the story was fabricated for social‑media engagement and allegedly refused to take down the video when she was asked to bring it down..

In a statement issued by the PRO, Dr. Ngozi Okiridu, the Senate announced her expulsion, saying it would serve as a deterrent to others.

  1. Why use her hand to destroy yourself?

Why did she not bring down the video when the school asked her to?

Everything is content for some of these people, without thinking of it's consequences.

    2. Slutty I honestly don't understand most of them this days, In her mind she was feeling like a queen when she was talking about it, now let her go and start a fresh again, maybe this time around if she is lucky to gain admission again she will be careful with her words .

  6. I love it, a lot of people are foolish these days, or maybe it's social media that's exposing foolish people now.

  7. Good for her. She went too extreme, not minding the reputation of her school and the said supervisor.
Now she knows that not everything is for content.

  8. I guess the money the content is generating for her is more important to her than completing her education. #ContentCrazyGeneration

  12. She might have said the truth in her post. Likely pressure from the school forced her to recant.
