NAF Pilot Who Got Married Two Weeks Ago Among 25 Killed In Ondo Air Crash

Squadron Leader Ahamefule Aham Man-Ugwueje, who was listed as one of the co-pilots on the ill-fated ATR 42 aircraft that crashed in Igbokoda, Ondo State, had just tied the knot on September 19, 2026.


He married his colleague, Flight Lieutenant Damilola Adekunle, in a beautiful military wedding ceremony in Abuja.
16 days after saying “I do”, the news of his death broke.
The NAF 931 aircraft was on a routine mission from Benin to Lagos on Monday, October 5, when it went down in a swampy area in Igbokoda.

All 25 persons on board, 5 crew members, and 20 passengers died.
No survivors were found.
His wife, Flt Lt Damilola also reportedly lost her father, Wing Commander O.E Adekunle, in a NAF Dornier 228 crash in 2006..
