Pope Leo XIV To Undergo Lung Surgery After Early Nodule Found

Pope Leo XIV shared on Sunday that Doctors found a small, localized nodule in his lung during recent check-ups..
He says that they caught it very early and it is well contained
The doctors advised removing it, and the Pope agreed. The surgery is planned for the coming days at Rome’s Gemelli Hospital.
Recovery is expected to take about a week.
He thanked people for their support and asked for prayers.
