It's DISRESPECT. I'm naturally chill, fun, easy to connect with. I can vibe with just about anyone. But the moment I feel disrespected, something in me shifts. My peace disappears, my patience runs thin, and that soft version of me sharpens fast. I'm a good person, I'm kind, genuine, understanding, and I lead with love. That's exactly why disrespect cuts so deep, because I know how much grace I give before I ever reach my limit.
LORD I REJECT THE SPIRIT OF ANGER."

Tonto, I reject every spirit of anger for you.
ReplyDeleteBible says that anger rests in the bosom of fools.
So true, Tonto! We all have our limits, we all have that one thing that instantly tests our patience and changes our mood instantly. And disrespect is definitely a big one. Recognizing it means you know your worth.
ReplyDeleteHaving a trigger doesn't make you a bad person, a weak person, or someone who is "too sensitive."... It just makes you human. When these boundaries are crossed, it hurts, and it can bring up really strong reactions.
The secret to staying calm isn’t pretending nothing bothers us....it’s about knowing exactly what our triggers are so they don’t catch us off guard. When we figure out what pushes our buttons, we gain power over our reactions. Instead of exploding or shutting down immediately, we can learn to take a deep breath, step away, and choose how to respond with a clear head. It's not going to be easy o..as It takes a lot of maturity to look inward and say, "This is my sensitive spot, and I need to protect my peace around it." We don’t have to be perfect, we just need to be self aware.
Let's stop judging ourselves for having emotional triggers and start focusing on how we can heal and grow through them. It takes time and practice, but learning to manage our triggers is the ultimate way to protect our peace and mind.
Keep standing tall, Evangelist Tonto Dikeh. You've gotten what money can not buy. May God give you more grace to do his work. I love you scarra.
