Rapper Rick Ross Arrested Over Felony Strangulation Charge

Rapper Rick Ross was arrested Thursday morning, October 1, by Miami Beach Police and booked into Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Centre at 6:10 a.m. on charges of felony battery by strangulation and misdemeanour battery.
The arrest follows public allegations from his ex-girlfriend Jazzma Kendrick, who accused him of hitting her and busting her lip.


The authorities report that the incident allegedly happened August 28 , 2026 at his Star Island home.
Ross turned himself in, pleaded not guilty, and is due in court on October 22,2026... His lawyers say he is being wrongfully accused and innocent.
Bond was set at $6,000.
