In a post shared on his Instagram page, the actor mentioned long phone calls, voice notes, late nights, uncomfortable clothes and shoes, unnecessarily long meetings, WhatsApp group chats and waiting for people who are always late.
He also said he no longer cares about what people think of his choices and does not want to step out without smelling great.
He added that life is short and people should make every new day count.
He wrote: "Tell me 5 things you’re TOO DAMN OLD for. I’ll give you 9.
1)LONG PHONE CALLS:
You cannot keep me on the phone longer than 2 mins, I’ll find a way to get off that call.
2)VOICE NOTES:
Chances are if you send me those I won’t play them.
3)LATE NIGHTS:
This one shocks me cuz 4/5 years ago I enjoyed staying out late but these days NOPE! Once it’s 10pm and I’m still out I’m cranky.
4)UNCOMFORTABLE CLOTHES/ SHOES:
All in the name of fashion I’ll now be uncomfortable? NEVER.
5)UNNECESSARILY LONG MEETINGS:
You and I know u can state ur points and wrap it up in 5 why is a meeting going on for as long as 30 mins to an hour WHY?
6)WHATSAPP GROUP CHATs:
Bruh I loathe group chats in general if it’s not very important I be there, I won’t be and even if I did join right after we are done with the reason for the group best believe I’m exiting and deleting the group.
7)WAITING ON CHRONIC LATE COMERS:
I don’t play with my time so if you invite me out for a certain time and I get there at said time (which I definitely will) and you’re not there I’ll leave even if it’s an event I’ll leave and if it’s a service I paid for at a certain time and you are late you might as well not show up anymore cuz I won’t be interested. Lateness says a lot about a person.
8)CARING ABOUT WHAT ANYONE THINKS ABOUT ME or MY CHOICES:
I wish I could be humble about this one but I’m not sorry about it honestly IDGAF! I have always been independent minded even my mother says “Ugo will do what he wants to do”
9)COMING OUT SMELLING BASIC:
Can never be me! I’m sorry too old for boring!!!!! Life is short there is no special occasion more important than a new day to live so make it count and most importantly smell great…"

ReplyDeleteSame! Most of his points are understandable. I always choose comfort over fashion as well. I ask myself, If I bend down to pick something up, will my cleavage be exposed? What about my thighs if I sit down? Can I raise my hands freely?
DeleteHonestly, I want to move naturally without constantly adjusting my clothes. I will look good for sure, but I won't be imprisoned by my outfit.
