Uzbekistan has reportedly placed temporary restrictions on visa issuance and entry into the country for Nigerian citizens.
A notice published on the website of the Green Energy Technologies Central Asia (GETCA) exhibition stated that Nigerians are currently affected by the restrictions.
The notice also listed Ghana, Kenya, Egypt, Iraq and Bangladesh among the affected countries.
However, Nigerians seeking to travel to Uzbekistan under exceptional circumstances have been advised to contact the consular section of the country's embassy for clarification and further guidance.
