First name is Sullivan, Last name is Chime. Sons first name is Nnamdi and his last name is Chime. What is this idea of adopting western last name and abandoning our African names. Colonial mentality, a passing fad or just inferiority complex? It seems to be common in Naija but her is So Cal st least, we Naijs People still are proud of our heritage and bear the last names or Mamas gave us.
