E4 PR Boss Egor Efiok Speaks On Susan Peters And Oge Okoye,

I spoke with Egor yesterday Thursday July 25m2013 on the phone concerning some scandals surrounding Ms Okoye and Ms Peters she is supposedly managing and she opened up on why she mentioned 'hypertensive' as concerns Oge Okoye and tells me she has already tackled the story about Susan Peters disgracing herself in Aso rock recently.,,The disgrace had to do with Susan crying because she was turned back from meeting the governor of her state and then grabbing envelopes and asking if President Jonathan will refund her flight money to and from lagos.....read the disgraceful story here

Just read the interview before you start commenting....lol

There was a recent uproar about a letter you wrote and I would like you to explain a few issues that I believe the public would also want answered. First of all, people were annoyed about you revealing Oge Okoye's medical history.
Well, about that, I must admit that I can be over emotional and spontaneous. If I'd given myself 24 hours to think carefully about it, I wouldn't have written it. My problem is that I'm precocious and often times, I find myself ignoring people when they don't 'get me', as it's too much of an effort to explain. Anyone that really knows English and understands the difference between nouns, verbs, adjectives etc would know that I did no such thing. A lot of people say stuff like "excuse my left" when the correct term is "permit my left". They'd use words like 'peak' when referring to humans instead of 'pique' because they have no clue that the former is a verb and you only use verbs with objects and the latter is a noun which can only be used with humans. They use tautology a lot too and would promise people 'free gifts' in competitions when both words mean the same thing. My exact words were "you made Oge Okoye hypertensive with your bullying". I never said Oge had been diagnosed with hypertension.

When they started saying that I revealed Oge's medical history, I just shook my head. Everyone can get hypertensive or develop high pressure as a result of anxiety and normally lots of rest would rectify it. It doesn't mean that they have a condition. For instance, you can hear me viciously coughing in between answering your questions. I have a painful chest infection and have developed high fever as a result. Does it mean I have a heart attack? Anxiety can bring on stress and heart palpitations, even in pregnancy, and that's exactly what I meant. It doesn't mean that the person was born with the condition. People chide each other all the time saying stuff like "please don't give yourself high blood pressure". Some of those comments can actually bring on any of these conditions and my advice to people that get bothered about them is not to read the comments.

How did you feel about the comments though? You must be aware that they were quite vicious.

I took my own advice after I wrote the letter and stayed off social network for almost two months and was only hearing snippets of what was being said from friends. The break also provided me a good opportunity to do many things, so I didn't allow myself get distracted. When a friend sent me a few screen grabs of some of the funniest comments, I was laughing so much that she remarked that it's so cool that I have such a good sense of humour. Dem yab me o, no be small. Thing is, I genuinely find many of the comments hilarious...stuff like I look like an atilogwu dancer at a new yam festival, Mighty Egor and there was this freak wanking over my photos even though he thinks I'm 'not pretty'. I laughed so much and even love the 'Mighty Egor' title. (laughing) Let's be real, they are genuinely funny, honest some of these anons are entertainers. Not everyone is as laidback as myself though, and some people take these comments to heart, so I'll still stand by my advice not to read the comments. Even I never have the time to read more than the first 20 comments on blogs that have too many comments. Usually, the first 20 comments are enough to deduce what the rest would be like. So please, I didn't reveal Oge's 'medical condition' and have no knowledge about her medical history. I was just misconstrued and it got blown out of proportion as a result. Ema bi nu, make una no vex mbok.

I must admit that I didn't recognize you until I saw your name written under some of the Fascinating Nigeria photos on Sync's site. You don't even look like you're in your 40s and have lost so much weight.

Thanks for the compliment Stella, it's a constant struggle to maintain it, but I dey try small. You weren't the only one who didn't recognize me at first. I deliberately dressed in trad and geeky glasses to look like a madam, make dem no bounce me think say I be small pikin. I remember when my friend, Princess Amayo was having her baby shower, I went downstairs to Tescos to buy some drinks and they refused to sell to me. The girl that was asking for my id and refusing to sell to me was even at least 10 years younger than myself. I had to call Princess and ask her to send down  some people to come and identify me. Also, when you say 40s, although you're right, it's not 40s like that o, I'm 41. (Laughs)

. I'm also impressed that you freely declare your age when it's very common for so many celebs to lie about their ages.

(Laughing). You don't even want to hear about some of my class mates that have shocked me by being even younger than my younger sister. One actually showed me her 9ja passport oh to prove to me that she was that age. In my opinion, people that lie about their ages have low esteem issues and don't know the repercussions of their actions. Are they telling God that He did not know what He was doing when He created them on their birthdays? It's better to even dodge the question and say something like, "a lady never reveals her age" instead of lying blatantly. I enjoy the reactions I get when people find out my age and it's even worse now that I've stopped using weaves, as I look more like a small girl. (laughs) I hope I can be an inspiration to others.

I also read that Susan Peters was one of the people you took with you to the villa and that she disgraced herself. Can you clarify the story please?
First of all Stella, I commend you for calling me to ask first instead of following the maddening crowd and printing reports that haven't been confirmed by myself. When journalists started pinging me to get "my own side of the story" and sent me the link to the article on Nigeria Films site, I was so weak with shock, anger and embarrassment, that the horrible English and jibberish  this so called 'journalist' spewed out suddenly seemed unimportant. That was supposed to be a huge moment for me, yet it was more important for them to try and ruin it. For the sake of the journalists that I hold in high esteem, I had to respond and that's all I have to say concerning that matter please.

Well Egor, it was nice talking to you again  and I commend your maturity in reaching out and leaving a comment under my Child Rape post on my blog.

Yes,we all need to unite as one to fight against Child Marriage and Child Abuse in Nigeria. Your Domestic Violence posts are also very inspiring and encouraging to silent sufferers, so keep up the good work. I have profound respect for Stella Damasus as well, for being bold enough to do what she did. It brought tears to my eyes and has galvanized many people into action.

Okay Stella, thanks for calling. Let me go before I pass  this cough to you over the phone. (We both laugh)

  1. Lol..... what i like most about this interview is that she takes her time to explain to us the difference between a noun, verb, and an adjective. She can easily replace 'busybody correcter' in this forum.

You were busy chasing after butterflies, opolo and alangba now you are clamouring for adult education. Abeg leave our BBC alone and don't come and start any bad belle here.

  7. The long story wasn't necessary. You goofed by talking about Oge's hypertension. Apologise and move on. Spare us the English lessons.

Instead of accepting the compliments about her new look graciously, she had to ruin it by claiming she now looks under 18.

Anyway, its nice to see she has a good sense of humour

  11. @ Anon 1:27am: I don't mind people saying their minds or abusing me, it's a free world, but when people deliberately make up lies from the pit of hell, it makes me wonder what sort of lives these people live. You are obviously the one that started that false rumour 2 years ago on Ladun's blog. FYI, I started E4 PR in 2009 from my apartment using an old computer. NOBODY ever gave me money to start E4 PR as you falsely claimed and it didn't require me having money. The lady you are talking about, I don't even have her number, talk less of bumping into her since I started E4 PR, I only read about her on sites. The last time I remember seeing her physically was around 2001 in London and that was at an event. She has NEVER given me a dime and I am not a beggar to go around asking people for money. I work hard for every dime I make. You also said she gave me money to start E4 PR when I was pregnant with my daughter. My daughter is 8 years old and has never met her and I only started E4 PR 4 years ago. It is okay for you to hate me, that's your choice; but in your hate, please fear God who made you and don't make up spiteful stories about me.

It is also a gift however this time its Free (He did not work for it or maybe doesn't deserve it at the time) Our problem is that WE KNOW MORE THAN THE ENGLISH MAN. "Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speakest" but in this case i will change it to 'out of the abundance of the heart the fingers type' Even after she went through the pains of explaining in details people still find it difficult to understand and still spill hatred. We behave like these so called entertainers are not humans or don't have emotions! Pls people, we need to stop cyber bullying, we should @least have a few kind words to say to them or don't say anything @all except in a case where that person is really walking the path of destruction(tonto dike) and even @ that a constructive criticisim would be just fine! Let's put ourselves in their shoes.

  22. I didnt knw Egor b4 d Monalisa and Oge story. I must say she looks good for a 41 year old...i have the following observations about this post:
I like the fact that there are many stories attached to the original post.
The interview was mentally stimulating (when enlightened people dialogue)
That Chijioke Obi of Nigeriafilm.com is the greatest illiterate of all times (even my Igbo brothers in Alaba have not written that kind of English)
Her explanation on verbs, adjectives and the likes was not a waste of time, it indeed threw more light to what she was saying (using the term "hypertensive" in another context)...However, I see her speech as damage control (which she is entitled to)and I still think Oge Okoye is Hypertensive (medically).
It has been confirmed indirectly that the Aso Rock incident was true, that Susan Patrick is not under E4-PR management and that she is ghetto and as razz as they come.
Finally, more power to ur elbow Egor and God bless SDK blog.
