  3. This country!!!! I shake my head... Recently, I went to Muritala Muhammed Int'l Airport tonight and passed through their arrival gates. I sat for more than an hour and nobody bothered to ask me what my motive was. My sister-in-law moved very close to the checking out point and no one asked her questions. What if we were bombers? All the time, it was sheer darkness o.

    7. Don't mind her. Very soon, Stella will come and plead on her behalf and she will follow it up with an Oscar award acceptance speech.

Shey you have seen what some of us have been talking about. Must she comment on every post? Sometimes, a post is not your cup of tea, you read and move on. Not Oluyomi o, she must have something to say. Even if its as lame as "I have no comment on this one". SMH

They are what yoruba will call 'koto aiye'fall inside na straight to hell. This is one of the most crucial connecting roads to the economy o, be like roller coaster. Hiss. In God we trust

  11. Nigeria we hail thee. No safety on the tarmac,@ terminal, even on the plane! I remember when I got it into the cty lastyear and power seized. The conveyor belt stopped working, minutes after power came on,luggage got stuck and the airport officials had to start operating manually I.e getting all luggage out with their hands. The problem was rectified after waiting for 45minutes. It is well

Go to ur dentist, they should do the laser whitening thingy after some deep cleaning of ur tooth cavities or so. Then u sef stop too dey smoke. Buy sensodyne whitening and brush twice a day, to keep the whitened teeth fresh. Get a tongue brush too. Some bacteria from the tongue can, the humidity, colour and texture of the vocal area esp when ur mouth emits a certain odour. Hehehehe kikkikwakwaki.

  23. stella is enjoying her expensive bullet proof bmw, she doesn't have to put any effort into improving the aviation industry coz she gets a friendly pat on the back whenever she squanders public fund. stella the minister, goodluck jonathan, naija politicians, who is fooling who. I only have respect for the poor Nigerians!!!

  24. thats d horrible step we pass through specially wt Arik flights from Ghana, we pass thru to bard and we pass thru to get into the airport
the step is so shaky if u are not careful u wl fall down
stella oduah is a disgrace of a minister, all they do is buy MAC and diamonds without doing jack, how will they not term them as jonathans mistresses when all they have is beauty without brains, we dont need a phd holder or masters degree to run d affairs f that airport, what they need is someone wt commonsense which is not common wt all these lunatics in government, on few occasions i have passed that airport both arrival and departure no aircon working, d last time a delta airline arrived 4/5 passengers collapsed due to heat, exhaustion and horrible smell
i wonder what some peoples homes look like when they cannot manage ordinary establishment put in their care.

  27. Stella see you...its so bad. I travelled frm lagos to dubai on the 11th of Nov and believe u me, der was no light for like 2 hours at the airport. We sat there patiently expecting the lights to come on by check in time...for where?...nothin o. So bad dey cldnt even get a rechargeable lamp or anything...u knw dey checked us in wt der phone lights...I mean al des nokis 3310 dem group not even a bright light. Emirates flights that was like over 200 passengers (am tryn to be modest cos na dt A380 plane or watever dey call it)...I was shocked to d bone bt was so angry cldnt even start snappn to send to you. Thats minus al d leaky roofs o...God help us.

    ReplyDelete
  28. My addition... close to gate E61 is a leaking roof... I sat there and watched an elderly lady slip, about 8 arriving passengers almost fell on d slippery floor before a cleaner decided to clean the wet floor with a smelly 10yrs old mop stick that is also used to clean the toilets.... we drew her attention to the smell before she poured some air-fresher from an Eva bottled water.... I am not going to discuss the attitude to work and treatments of passengers by the airport staff..... that is already well documented. The hot air, and criminal activities by luggage loaders!!!! Which way Nigeria. P'S: disclaimer on this - since we now have watch dogs on the Internet monitoring those who try to speak out against injustice.

Toluwaugly is really a man who posted his real name and comment and then posted as Toluwaugly with the same comment. This person has never travelled and is so frustrated.
If you abuse Pealie she cries then takes a break and comes back. She's an essex low living immigrant. She's all woman with her frog eyes and banana breasts. Maybe they are husband and wife living separately.

  32. After all these tweets and pictures, outcries and protests, Nigerians will still go under the sun and rain in April 2015 and vote for Jonathan. When will wisdom be a virtue among us?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Don't mind them, especially the IGBOS. They all still brag they are voting for Jonathan. Just don't know WHY in the world would u (igbos) vote for an incompetent man cos he is from ur region. Yorubas never voted for Obasanjo, he even lost in his own state (Ogun) cos they knew he was not worthy, competent and fit to be Nigeria's president despite the fact that he was a Yoruba man. U igbos should leave tribal, regional or religious sentiments aside and vote a trusted, tested, competent, honest and hardworking candidate, in respective of where he comes from. Enough of "it is our turn ". Nigeria will never move forward with that. Hausa could be there for 100 years for all I care, so far the country progresses and grows economically. Wake up and face reality. Time for change, this is a special message to IGBOs. Vote right !

  33. When I heard about rehabilitation if airports earlier this year, I was happy. But when I landed at MMIA, shame catch me. I had passed through 3 STANDARD airports prior to MMIA for that journey. It was old, archaic, with terrible facilities, as if it hasn't been touched in decades

Dele Momodu is well travelled and he has always advocated for better airports through his Thisday column but does anyone take any notice? Instead, government officials wave off Critics as Haters. One day, one day, Nigerians will stop being so laid back and demand for their rights.

  40. What do you mean MR Dele momodu, ! This is airport is up to international standards, hence the need to include the word international in it name..... buhaaaaa (This is all in the ministers' distorted mind ofcos) that airport is an eye sore...kilode! Worst of all mosquitoes even fly freely chopping on fresh bloods that have just arrived from obodo oyinbo... common fumigation they cant do, talkless of proper conveyor belt, tarmacs, air conditioners etc... that airport should be shut down, its a disgrace.
