Fraudsters On The Move - Blog Visitor Mail.

Please read this mail and shine your eyes well...seems fraudsters have devised a new means to defraud you.....

''I got a call from a man this morning, telling me that there was a terrible accident along Lagos- Ibadan expressway. He introduced himself as an officer from federal road safety commission. According to him, only one lady survived the accident and they rescued her but she is badly injured.

That they gave her a pen and paper to write her details and she wrote my number, before she passed out and searching the ladies bag, they found N8, 500 and her phone. And when they scrolled down, they noticed that my number was last dialed before the accident occurred. He said they have rushed her to the hospital, and money is needed for blood, but that they will call me back with the ladies number.

The way I responded to him, i told him that i cannot be fooled. I never heard from him again, but i later sent him a text message insulting and cursing his generation.

This is the number he used in calling me.08107238031. I withheld my number and called him back and he answered, and I cursed and cursed him.
He hung up. After 3 hours i called him again with my number still hidden. i called him a thief and he dropped the phone again.

Please let everyone know please so they don’t fall a victim.''

    1. The same bastard did it to my dad last year. My younger sister travelled on the day they called, so they told him about an accident that occurred along benin/ore road & a fair lady was among the injured passengers(my sis is also fair in complexion) and they managed to get his number on her phone. That he should send airtime to them so that they can recharge it on her phone cos she doesn't have any airtime left, then use it in calling him to confirm the number. My dad that has HBP & rheumatism started panicking & almost died cus of the news. We started calling my sister's phone only to receive the "not available" response. Ghen ghen! I thought I was gonna lose my dad that day but something inside was telling me that its just fraud, I'm not suppose to even regard the news. Then I told my dad to stop panicking, cus the guy might be a fraudster that just wants his airtime. The man didn't listen to me and went ahead to buy #100 airtime and sent it to him. After sending it, I called him to know if he had seen it, the nigga started speaking yoruba to me that "eh, I saw the airtime, is it not #100? That his colleague mistakenly recharged it on a wrong phone, that we should send another one". I started laughing & the demon in me started raining curses on the bastard. I just hope he'll die from those curses.

    5. There are just so many of them scammers everywhere now... I got a message about a week ago about how inviting me to a written/oral interview...the name of the company read Azenergy...I went for the interview this last Monday out of curiosity,I spoke to some of the people that came for the interview if any of them applied and they all said no,that they just got the message
We signed it and we were told the test would take 15 minutes and while they mark our scripts,a staff would come to tell us what the company does.
Before I forget, the venue was 84 pako/itire rd Morgan bus stop Mushin Lagos (trinity house)there was no sign post indicating there's a company there,it was even while I was there I heard the name is AlphaPlus.
After the test a young lady came and started what looked like a motivational speech. After about 20minutes some people got offended and asked why they were invited and where they got their numbers from...they left angrily;about 15 of them.
The lady continued after ther departure and still spent up to an hour before a guy she referred to as CEO Kelvin Obita enter to give his own speech
Our scripts that we were told would determine who would be employed that same day never came...this guy boasted about how in 2 years this business has made him travel to 5 countries, how he has bought properties all over Lagos and how he now earns up to a million per month.
To cut the long story he asked those who were interested to be recruited to signify by raising hands(it was no longer by the test we took) we that suffered through the speech did and he said we'd pay 10k for license that day or 5k and we'd be opportuned to be trained by him...I showed interest sha and he agreed we could bring the money on Wednesday(15th)we were not allowed to ask questions in the open class...the questions were to be asked in his office after we had all been given a form to fill...my question was simple...what their website is and they said 'they are still developing'
I'm sorry I didn't write about what they are into...I didn't get it myself and both the office and the room we used for test had only plastic chairs,no single furniture not to talk of computers or fans and I heard they've been inviting people for test for about a month now...Stella don't mind my medium, please investigate.
I sincerely hope my epistle saves someone from wasting 10k

      Here's the number they dropped...07031000145

  17. Na wa o, These fraudstars are everywhere. Recently, a friend of mine fell for them. He got a call from a company in VI to supply them 33 thousand liters of diesel worth over 4m. He was happy thinking it's one of the companies his marketers submited proposal to. Quickly he went and supplied them after they had agreed that the payment will be in 3 days. They gave him a cheque after the supply and told him to cash it in 3 days time. When the guy went to the bank,no money in the account. He was informed that the account has not been used by the owner for over a year (Gobe!).
He quickly rushed back to the company where he supplied the product and found the building empty, the tank he put the diesel was nolonger there too, inshort no one was there. He was informed the building has not been in use for some time. He dialed the number of ther person that gave him the job and it was not going, till date. The guy is in a mess right now. 4 million + gone just like that this new year. He is still running around hoping to catch them and get his money back. I pray he does. SMH
Let's all be very careful to avoid stories that touch bikonu.

She now ended up with us paying 10500 for training. I was moved to pay ooo bt because I didn't have enough on me but was tempted to use the atm but somefn strucked me not to pay and I finally released 500 for a down payment. Some ppl paid that 10500 ooo.
Was so glad dat I didn't pay as much.
I have a personal friend dat scammed me too. As a good friend, he begged me to help him pay some amount into his friend's acct dat he was gonna do an atm transfEr to my acct. Behold,I received a text message on my fone that an amount has been paid into my acct. Checked my acct balance and didn't notice any credit payment ooo

Immediatly my phone rang, and d person said. " pls I mistakenly sent u an sms meant for my sister. I said " don't worry I won't load d cards". I was rushing to d market. Wen I got to d market I felt my phone vibrating, I took d call and d guy @ other end said " oh it's me who sent u an sms mistakenly I just wanted to call and say thank u. I neva knew there r still good people in dis country" I said u r welcome don't mention. By the time I got home from d market, I discoverd dis guy had called me several times again! I was like na wa Oo°˚˚˚°! Dis kind thank u don too much na! He called again and I took d call. He went on to tell me his name, told me he works in NNPC abuja, how he is d one thing one thing there. He asked me my name, I told him and asked me if I had a job, I said no I had just finished my nysc. He now asked me if his office gives me a job in Ph will I take it? I said yes. (For my mind I wan get reward for my good deeds.). The next thing he said "let me speak to my boss, call me back so I'll give u the feed back".
Immediatly he said I should call him back, It set off alarm bells in my head. I quickly checked d number he sent me d sms with and compared it with a number that has been sending me text msgs of a peter claiming to be a fellow x corper who had gotten a job in Nnpc bla bla bla . Low and behold d 2 numbers matched and dis mumu guy told me his name was Engr peter. I was like chai see scam . I didn't take d guys calls again. I even tried loading d fake pins d recharhe card didn't exsist. He kept calling for weeksi didn't bother taking his calls. Till today I still see missed calls from that number!

  41. Talking od Alphaplus and Kelvin Obita, I was at the interview and watched them play their script. Even after their drama session (I mean all the blah-blah-blah, I and another guy made efforts to get more info about the organization, while the young man was muttering words that seemed incoherent, the lady who gave what seemed to be like a motivational speach before her supposedly Md (Kelvin Obeta) came in called him and asked what he was discussing with us, the dude seemed like he was under a spell. Right there andthen, she yelled at him not to talk to us. Hmmmm...I only laughed at the whole scenerio, cos if not for the high level of uunemployment in Nigeria, the likes of Kelvin Obeta and others wouldn't easily take advantage of people.
    God help us.
