LASU Students Protested Yesterday.....

One would think that these students stayed home long enough and they would avoid anything that would send them back home right?

Lagos state University students closed and halted all activities yesterday on the Badagry international route as they protested within and in front of the school premises..
I do not have all the details but a bus driver was killed and the students took their grievance to the streets.
They are supposed to start their exams today Thursday January 23,2014 but i doubt that happening with what happened yesterday

    1. Taaa! Shatap dia....... U got nothing to say, u must not comment. Students forgot to register their various courses online while the ASUU saga was on. Only to return to school to see the school portal has been closed, and students can't register no more , meaning an extra semester automatically , if care not taken , an extra year. After paying 216,000 as tuition fee. If na u , wetin u go do?? Over 1200 students affected.

    2. Grandma Mamie what do you know?
Let me tell you a story...
When I was young, My aunt that lives on bordilion road in Ikoyi( that is if you know where that is) got herself a very pretty maid from Liberia, Aunty Amie by name, she was a pretty thing but not educated, she can read and write English as if its her native language but she cant speak fluently. Aunty Amie cant express herself vocally but she can read books and write like Wole Soyinka(that is if you know who that is)...
The Moral of the story is that aunty Amie cant speak English but can read any book, write anything and she is a grandma now...
Are you Aunty Amie, Grandma Ma-amie?

  5. Basic education in Nigeria is the backbone of today's generation, that is why parents are encouraged to give their kids the best in both primary and secondary school because the tertiary system in most universities are messed up already.
You can't also blame them at all,may be the driver killed is a student or a LASU staff, but am sure the protest is for right course, but they still need to resolve their issues and go back to school

Someone gave the comment that they were unable to register and that is a good reason because one will just have automatic carry over and pay an outrageous amount for school fees.
