  3. Awww, how adorable. This is y parents must look after their wards when they r young, it's called reaping the fruits of one's labour. All absentee /nonchalant parents should remember that there's no gain without labour.

  12. Wow..this is beautiful. Wish I could do the same for my dad but I don't love him. Whenever I remembered how many men I slept wit just to get my basic needs while in school, my heart always burn with hatred for my parent.

    2. Me too! I have no respect or love for my dad. I didn't sleep with men though, and that's cos my mum vowed and went through hell to take care of us. Now he goes around saying all his kids have abandoned him. Kids you don't know how they grew up or went to Uni. I send 500 pounds to my mum every month (that is excluding what my siblings send cos I'm even the lowest earning person) but I have neither spoken to nor given my dad a dime in the last 5 years. He doesn't deserve a call from me not to talk of taking him out. Hahahahahaha! No be only take out sef. Una go tell me make I build house for am too.

  37. Aunty Stella good morning ..After going through this mail especially the comments , I realise that things are happening....

It is disheartening to see some of the posts put up here about what some parents did to their wards whereby creating a bad blood btw them which is not supposed to be.some children through the help of God still forgive their parents by taking care of them but never forgetting what they did to them knowingly or unknowingly whereas some children just can't forgive nor forget which make us see alot of our aged parents suffering, is it suppose to be like that? they say it is what we sow we reap. Parenting is the greatest job on this earth o and it has to be down well .
Let's educate ourselves especially we the new generations, the future parents so we don't go the wrong road our parents went and even to our parents ,where they have gone wrong they should retrace and right their wrongs before going back to their creator , most of this hate is what they have caused and because they are "The Parents esp in the African community they are always right" .
To the new generations, we need our parents just as they will need us either now or nearest future, let's be submissive and do as the Holy Bible tells us. There is no greater joy than when a family is united, , it's a continuous process, from one generation to another not just for the family but to the society as a whole. (a lot of people might not understand this but things are happening , only those that have the shoes on, I rest my case).
    Aunty Stella, good night!

  38. Kike God bless.....may your own kids love you more IJN......

My dad loves me silly and there's no one who knows me from my primary school days that doesnt know how close I am to my dad.....and my mum,,she's the best mum anyone could ever wish for....i remember when i was having my introduction ceremony(not engagement oo)my dad cried like a baby,,and everyone was surprised.....on the day of my engagement...my dad and mum cried,,,and at the point my dad was to hand me over to my hubby in church....we both cried,,when i was leaving the reception with my hubby,,,my dad quickly came out of the reception hall and we hugged each other again in tears.....even though it was a thing of joy starting my own home.....it was so painful leaving my parents......My marriage is almost 5yrs now to the glory of God...I love my Dad and Mum so much,,heaven knows how much,,,i work and earn well and once i sense they need anything,,,i quickly overtake them and get it for them(they are very comfortable,,that's why i use the word "overtake")........I love you so very much,,,Dad&Mum.....

  39. For those who hate their dad...pls forgive them irrespective of how bad you were treated.....remember,,your dad is ur dad,,,no one's dad can take the place of your dad....pls take care of them in your own little way,,it is our duty to take care of them.......may God help you to overcome the pains they have caused you....it is well..
