Consumed by Jealousy last year,Mary Konye hatched what she thought was the perfect crime and then she went on to play it out...she bathed her beautiful Nigerian friend Naomi Oni with acid!
The incident shocked everyone who read of it and the UK Police did not relent in trying to find who wanted to erase Naomi's beautiful face.
In court Mary said Naomi planned the whole thing because she wanted to be famous but evidence showed she took revenge because Naomi called her ugly.
Nobody bought Mary's story and yesterday Friday March 21,2014 she was sentenced to 12years in Jail...The 22year old Miss Konye will smell freedom again when she is 34 years old.
Now lets talk.
Calling someone ugly is wrong and breeds seeds of hatred,jealousy and malice...Mary was so wrong but perhaps if Naomi had guided and guarded her tongue all might have been well...the wicked plan was hatched because Naomi used the word ugly in an already tense situation.
God created everyone unique and beautiful.
I pray both ladies find time to heal..may God touch the heart of Mary and open her yes to see that she is beautiful in a unique way.

Imagine! That's why I always avoid ugly friends cus they will always be jealous of you. They take jokes personal and when you hang out together and people pay you compliments or ogle over you without doing same to them, they get angry with you.

ReplyDeleteStella she just didnt call her ugly from d blues.Naomi and Mary have being friends since They were 11.so u can imagine Naomi's shock and subsequent rage when she found out that Mary Konye her so called friend was texting and seducing her boyfriend....it was in a text to her boyfriend she called Mary " ugly" and Yeah,Mary is an ugly person,for trying to snatch her friend' s boyfriend.how low and July can one get?!

British justice system is a joke when it comes to sentencing, with all efforts made by police judges end up giving out short sentence. I think they need to change laws when it comes to sentencing especially murder cases. It's even fun for people who could not afford daily bread to commit crime and end up in prison after some months or years they are released only to continue because they find prison safe heaven to provide free food and room, when people do not have hope for tomorrow they end up committing some stupid crime. This lady will only be in prison for 6years half the sentence,poor Naomi. Europeans are too liberal for crime purnshiment, Europe is the worst place for someone to be killed because in less than 25years to 30years the person is out of prison committing same crime unlike US you die in prison for murder.

Wots d ish in being called ugly, ppl hav been called worse names n dey still go abt dia normal lives. ReplyDeleteHmmm, so this is how this story end. I remember how some people be opening their mouth saying all sort of trash about Muslims, because a 'niqab' was involved in the story. Thank God truth and justice prevailed sha. Just needed to point out that every one is capable of evil doing, it has nothing to do with, religion, ethnicity or social status. Salam!
