    1. Hi!

I just signed the petition "The President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan: Relieve the Minister of Interior (Comrade Abba Moro) and the Controller-General of Immigration (David S. Parradang) of their positions." on Change.org.

It's important. Will you sign it too? Here's the link:

  2. MEMO TO PREGNANT WOMEN
Please, i want to.use the opportunity to advise that all pregnant women should mind the-kInd of interviews or social gatherings they go to,i was shocked when i saw pregnant women finding their way in to the crowd, some had to come rest at the back of the staduim meant for-training&dancing.A normal human being who saw that crowd and still believe that writing that interview will guarantee you a job,has the greatest faith or has been told already which am sure is a huge scam, but for you a woman carrying your baby inside that crowd means you careless about what happens to.you but your priority is the job;i hope you know a pregnant woman died yesterday, i also took one to Chirona Medicals who complained of pains which resulted to her baby shifting-i know women understand better;and the sun was crazy and so hot.
Please, if your husband can't go with you, please turn back and go back home;you are going to fight with youths who don't know how to treat women or how to behave themselves like matured adults to fight for space, please.your. life is your priority, use your tongue and count your teeth, God will provide and meet us all at the point of our needs, nothing in this life is a must, you came with nothing and we leave with nothing, please use your head, please;please they are better jobs than immigration, let's be hopeful and prayerful.

    1. Very true,i must agree with u,during my service year.it was amazing how most pregnant women were behaving, they would clearly see how there conditions were but they would be the ones to forcefuly enter lines or struggle during queues then end up falling down.most times they expect pity but in certain situations like yesterday noone is looking at your stomach. They should learn to do all these things with cautious. May God help us

  6. Really unfortunate a federal body could engage in this scam. I imagine the millions of naira that has been shared from the application fee proceeds. A smart person should not be there. Seeing this crowd, you are to just go home because it is obvious you have been scammed. Truth be told though, most Nigerian "graduates" are not employable .
But wait o, when will Nigerian youths wake from their slumber and be enterprising? Must you wait for the "government job", your mates are employers of labor. You can also start small.

  7. Why didn't they do the test in batches then why can't people just comport themselves? Always rushing for everything? A lot of people who were there already had jobs for want of a more lucrative one they decided to go for the test.....whatever you do in life is at your own risk..

  8. Oh my God!!! So it is this bad??!! Nigerian leaders, it is time you all stop looting the nation! STOP!!!

  9. Stella I don't think this is the time for the blame game. In as much as graduates behave like animals most times doesn't mean how NIS organised the exam is justifiable. Even after they had collected 1k each frm the applicants the best they could have done was to organise it well. There is no law that says exams can't be done in 3 different days atleast to accommodate the crowd that applied. This is to show how irresponsible and nonchalant these people are. The worse part is that those who would get the job won't even write the exam. The least NIS can do right now is to give those deserving the position. This is actually a wake up call. Our destinies are in our hands, whether to move nigeria forward or to remain where we are and continue to eat crumbs. I weep for naija

  14. The problem in Nigeria is in the fabrics of the nation.
    Corrupt leaders, leading corrupt people.
Most are impatient, crude, rude, loud.
We are mostly religious, but we need to show more love..
Mediocre lifestyle is praised at the least.
It's not just the government, because the people are the government.
But there's hope for Nigeria...dare I say revolution?!

  15. SDK the government was at fault dey should have at least shared the question paper to the when they where entry the venue. Most of thus candidate where not thinking right all sat would have been in their mind is I have come this far not to get a question paper. This kind of thing those not happen only in NIGERIA it happens everywhere that is why we are called human. NIS is to be blame cos dey know d amount of form they sold and should have been well prepared.

    ReplyDelete
  16. I blame those fools for extorting d poor job seekers and giving 'em false hope when they know they've already chosen d people they are taking for d job.

  17. The sad part is that selection of candidates may ve been concluded in the closet long before this beehive...Young dreams, killed on arrival. What needless pain! Smh!

  18. Stella there is no way you will have this number of turn out that there won't be a stampede. the organization of this whole process was rubbish. where in the world does this kind of recruitment process happen? the organizers should know better. what do you expect to happen when people when people have lost their cool even before the officials arrived? knowing the number of people that applied for this job, am sure they would have found a better way to conduct the test even if it takes them a month to finish the process.

  19. I had a good laugh watching this.....SMH....my type will not even go close talkless of dragging those papers....

  22. Stella things are indeed happening in this world.
I was at a wedding last month and I could not believe what I saw. Iv been hearing and reading about frenemies but I just tot the stories were exaggerated.

  23. My dear we are together o! If I were to be an applicant, I wouldn't even bother....

This is a death trap and not an employment opportunity .

..and to think 2 billion was raised from the sale of forms...ohhh......my tears are dried up. Can't cry for this country no more..... All hope is gone and lost!

    ReplyDelete
  24. Stella, the level of poverty in this country is sickening. We should blame the government, they collected so much money from these people and can not even organise in batches. They could have given instruction to block the account the moment they got payments from 10 to 20 thousand people. Immigration is one of the most corrupt in this country. They are competing with the police. A hungry man is an angry man. Those applicants became impatient after waiting for several hours without food. C'mon mehn. Mr. Moronic Abba Moro said they died because they were impatient, such reckless talk. I dont blame him, boko haram kills every week in hundreds, 17 is actually no big deal to these blood sucking corrupt officers. Nonsense.

    ReplyDelete
  25. The ones who died are better off than those left behind. They no have to fret over job or where the next meal is coming from. It's the loved ones who are suffering, but the dead is free.

If you have to pay a fee for the possibility of getting a job, you should probably rethink it before you go through with it. How they charging these people some of who are broke and destitute 10k just for the privilege of writing an exam? Call me lazy or faithless, but had I been there and saw that crowd right back home I would have gone.

My condolences to the families and loved ones of those who lost their lives. Take heart they died trying to better themselves.

  26. May God touch our leaders the way saul was touched and became paul IJN, Amen. My God comfort the families that lost their loved ones in this process. Nigeria!!!!!!!!!!hmmmmmmm! we really have a long way to go.

  27. After seeing pictures of the crowd @ various centres. I had to ask my husband if the recruitment is for Immigration worldwide or just Nigeria. Bc d crowd was damn much + improper coordination. God is in control...
