Our client, a reputable hospitality and tourism outfit located in
Umuahia, Abia state is looking to hire: Storekeepers ,Kitchen Chefs and Bakers. 

All intending applicants should be fluent in the English language, be able to work with minimal supervision and should have applicable previous work experience. 

Bakers and Chefs are required to be able to produce variety of products. 
Salary is attractive and housing is available for workers who reside outside the state.

Thank you poster..but my question is this(in respect of all this job vacancies)..must every worker have a previous working experience or must ve worked with a particular firm for some years before he/she can apply for a job..I'm asking cos I ve noticed that every job advert I see requires some years of experience or soo..now the thing is this;what about fresh graduates who know a lot about that particular vacancy needed but hasn't worked yet in respect of what he studied?? How does he/she goes about it??

    Job description:
    Provide excellent customer service.
    Managing retail outlet daily operations which includes sales, promotions, inventory management, cashing duties, etc.
    Be responsible for processing cash payments and balancing cash register.
    Responsible for receiving and stocking shelves with products.
    Well organized and attentive to detail.
    Will assist customers with product knowledge and selection.
    Dealing with customer complaints and refunds.
    Keeping the store and products well arranged, tidy and clean this includes hovering and mopping.
    Working within established guidelines, particularly with brands.
    Attaching price tags to products on the shop floor.
    Responsible for security within the store and being on the lookout for shoplifters
    Will be involved in special sales events, promotions or marketing activities


    Job requirements:
    Female 21 years old and above
    Must have finished a higher institution, OND or degree program, experience in retail is most valued.
    Able to communicate in clear English and must be computer literate.
    A Fashion savvy individual should always have a smart appearance and articulate.
    Hardworking, independent, good interpersonal and communication skills. (A good simile)
    Self-driven and motivated to achieve sales target
    Results-oriented with positive work attitude
    Can work long hours (6 days a week) including weekends and public holidays.
    Basic Salary + Special Allowance + Commission
