    1. Naija is one of the leading countries with high maternal mortality(if thats the term). Careless Doctors and Nurses, no offense to any medics on this on this page. In Nigeria, you go in for procedure your heart will be in your mouth. The doc might be a quack, the nurses are too busy yelling and insulting. The equipments are from 1850 and the government could care less to update them. May she RIP

    1. I am a Nigerian dr and I agree with u. But look at the big picture? Are the hospitals equipped? Re the resources available? How much training do these drs have? For as long as corruption and quackery is Nigeria's first name, expect more calamities. Shitty country

      A pissed dr

  36. So true. Most of these deaths may be preventable. I remember after birthing my daughter last year, the episiotomy was done but I noticed I was bleeding heavier than normal. I called a nurse's attention to it and she simply went to get more sanitary towels for me to use. Hubby had gone out to get some stuff and when I started feeling faint, I went to the midwife who was there during the incision and mini surgery, she instantly knew something was wrong and I was wheeled back inside the theater. Omo, na God save me o. They noticed I had even bled a lot and had to fix whatever damage was done. When it was celebration time, that same incompetent nurse was in the front row acting like she delivered the baby herself. She's been fired a long time after giving a child the wrong medication. Thank God the child survived.
