Corpse Of Former Governor Nwobodo’s Son Missing.

It was a show of shame at Amechi Awkunanaw in Nkanu East Local Government Area of Enugu State as the burial ceremony of Dr. Ifeanyichukwu Nwobodo, the late son of former Governor of old Anambra State, Senator Jim Nwobodo turned awry.

Nigerians from all walks of life waited in vain for the arrival of the corpse. News later filtered in that the corpse of the deceased disappeared from the morgue.

DAILY POST recalls that Dr. Ifeanyi Nwobodo Jnr., who had on November 16, 2014 died of cancer, was to be buried yesterday.

Sweetie, you call Alloy a fool, a blog whore and a loser because he comments on other blogs? Perhaps I missed the memo on exclusivity and monogamy between SDKB visitors and Stella herself.

I wonder how you got your info. Obviously, you were hypocritically prancing around blogs, looking for whom to devour. Honey, give yourself a break. If your line of thoughts are that  pedestrian, you are as guilty for even reading through other blogs to fish out Stella's cheating blog visitor(s). ‎

If he is buried there that means Pat's sons no go free take the compd when jim dies. The late man's immediate sibling want to use Late Ifeanyi's grave to make sure say the compd will be theirs.
Biko, make I no crack this head too much.
Mukasolu ndoooo. Mukaosolu was jim's first wife n late ifeanyi's mum.

    2. Irene,I appreciate ur input.buh nne,as a real Igbo woman, married to a "Traditional" Man,I can stand my own wen it comes to Igbo tradition...my own place especially.

In Igbo Land, the owner of à Man's compound is His FIRST SON.....Ask around.

Even wen a man dies without a son,nne if dem marry à woman for him After his death,d very first son dat woman produces(weda by him or not)is the OWNER of the late man's compound.
      Its our ome n'a ala!

Now in dis case, weda Oga Jim Nwobodo married two wives that in turn produced 10 Sons each,as long as Ifeanyi is d first son by His first wife,he is d owner of that compound....thats d tradition.

And His Umunna knows dis.so Does Ifeanyi's sibs....thats why dey hijacked the corpse.

As long as that particular compound is the "Obi", thats Ifeanyi's inheritance.

Clearly,Oga Jim Has being hood-winked by his second wife and is dancing to her whims.

Buh I pity him ,cos Ome na ala Igbo is Sooo strong and His Umunna wil not, mark it,will not Allow this slight on one of Their Sons....

      Delete
    3. GW first son can as well loose his OBI to the second son if he does not has a male child and dies before his father, the OBI will automatically belongs to the second second son be it from d same mother or not. It just unfortunate that it is happening in a Polygamous Family and Ifeanyi's mother did not has another son before d second Wife had his first son, if not this wouldn't be been a Problem because Ifeanyi would ve still loosed the OBI to his younger Brother.
Our question/s should be of whether he I mean Ifeanyi has a son or not, if not then it is a Tradition. It might be hard to believe but that is the way it is. But if Ifeanyi has a son, then that goes the question/s.
      Omenala esika ike.

      Delete
    4. Ifeanyi's wife had a baby boy few months ago. So he retains the right to be buried in his father's Obi. Meanwhile Pat's son is the 4th son. Ifeanyi has two other brothers from the same mom. So can't you see that Jim is either jazzed or pussywhipped? Trying to pass on the Obi to his 4th son.

      Delete
    5. As I know it in I gbo land, once the 1st son pre decreases his father, he loses all rights of the 1st son irrespective of whether he has 10 sons or not even in a monogamous marriage, it is even worse as it can be seen in this instance, where more than 1 wife is involved. At least, the late Ifeanyi has been given a piece of land in death ( which signifies the loss of diopkalaship) they should bury him there and let the guy's soul rest.

      Delete
    6. Yea Anony,Ifeanyi had two kids.a Boy inclusive.

      Delete
    7. Anan 12:56 if what u said is true, then the OBI still belong to him(his son whether he is still a baby or not)d Obi belongs to him. Not even his immediate younger brother can claim the OBI. Ifeanyi's wife should be careful and don't fight them, when her baby boy grows he will definitely fight for what belongs to him, I mean the OBI. Adighi ebugha OBI ebugha n' ala Igbo. ALU ka obu. Something is fishy

      Delete
    8. Anony,no be small ALU o! Never heard dis kain story before o.

Simple,D man should have gone ahead and built a house for his second wife's son and leave d Obi alone for Ifeanyi.

Dis thing get as e be ooo.....

    3. Does he has child cos in Tradition if a child(male or female) DIES BEFORE HIS FATHER WITHOUT A CHILD(REN) then the CORPS will not be burried in HIS FATHER'S COMPOUND and if he is d FIRST SON AND DIES BEFORE HIS FAtheR WITHOUT A MALE CHILD and His Father has other Male child/ren , he will HIS INHERITANCE as the FIRST SON but MUST be buried in His Father's Compound. if he looses his inheritance by death then The Second Son(be it from the same mother with d death or any other legitimate son) will automatically takes over ThePosition Of The First Son.
I be withness all these from MY Family, my cousin died before his father(my uncle) he was buried in his fathers compound but loosed his inheritance as a first to his younger brother because he had only girls just dat his mother was lucky to have sons before d other wives did. We should ask whether Jim's son has child/ten if not his will not be burried in his father's compound as d tradition goes or when he has child/ten without a male child, he will be as well loose his inheritance as d first son to d second son be it from d same mother or not. And that is d TRADITION and if Jim is a Traditional Man then it is not his FAULT.
I'm not from Enugu neither I'm related to these people but try to make people ask questions before passing judgement/s. Nwa Nauru n'ihu Anna ya by Uga nwa. A ga-eni ya name Ogige(outside d compound) ma oburu na-omutaghi Nwa. Be male or female

The presence of Peter Obi, Senator Ngige couldn't change the heart of Jim Nwobodo. #SMH# based on the story we read on Linda Ikeji's blog. A BV attended the funeral

But the first wife held herself very well and thank God for her life , the children too has done well unfortunately the Doctor died @ the prime of his life .
Forget all the noise Jim was making when he died , what was his relationship with them all na mouth Jare . It is Pat that ruined him , that is still controlling his life , wetin bi house for Amechi Awkunanaw sef , like her own kids be recognized hmmmmmmmm we are waiting .

  48. People think the dead are powerless. .I used to think that to until recently. A distance relative of mine died and her bro whenever their is a meeting for the burial he will cause problems and the meeting will be postponed. This happened for almost 3 years. Then people in the village started seeing the dead woman and she was telling them to warn her brother that because they have not buried her she has not rested and is still roaming. Diff people went to tell her bro but he was stubborn. Even one little girl in the village advised the man that his sister is saying she is angry now and when she decides to act she will not have mercy. ..one day her brother went to have his bath when he just shouted and fell and died instantly. When the family people went to find out they told them it is his sister that killed him that she said since he does not want her to rest then he should join her. That she is giving them one month if not someone else will go. She was just laid to rest yesterday.... So my dear dead body get power
