Where is ur husband by the way? Why are you alone with ur baby? Don't you have any friends/family that could come spend wknd with you, cheer you up abit.
Me I'm just home today, spending the rest of my day going to market, cooking and freezing for the week. It's not easy combining marriage and work together. Thankfully I have help, but na still me dey cook main food.

  8. Hello CHW, read through your story the other day and found out ur sickling.
Pls let me know if ur in the UK or Nigeria.
If ur in the UK, you can speak to your consultant about "Hydroxyhruea". My husband has SCD and used to have severe pain or crisis for days but the drug helped and hes now on an "exchange programme and he hasnt had crisis in 16months.
I woulnt encourage the exchange if ur in Nigeria because it has to do with taking out your blood and putting a new one "like transfusion".
Il speak to you if you need.
