MEMO TO UNILAG STUDENTS -BE VIGILANT


Dear Stella,
A very good evening to you and God bless you for your good works.
I just want to send a note of caution to students in Unilag, to be wary of armed robbers on the prowl within school vicinity. 

My sister who's a final year student of Unilag, doing her project, just came home with a sad news that her bag was snatched from her around 5 am, but not before he used knives to inflict injury on her. 

She had finished prepping for church, and was walking down along the roundabout, adjacent to the sports complex, when someone approached from behind and pulled her bag, she struggled with him. 

 As they both were pulling the bag, he kept shouting at her to leave the bag alone, she was shouting "thief, thief, thief," but nobody was in sight. In the process, he brought out two knives which he used to cut her hand, after which she let go, leaving her with the straps, due to the pulling.


The bag contained, #9500 for her project work, bible and tracts, a blackberry phone and books. Its so painful that this happened during this period of recession, because where and how will she get money for her project now, even i haven't done my clearance due to no money palaver . Anyway, i thank God that her life was not lost in the process.

Please Unilag students be careful of thieves and armed robbers , they usually camouflage as passers by, in order to perpetuate their aim.
