  2. Shut up PL the great....that is how some of you mislead others....the bible says a man shall leave his father and mother and cleave to his wife....can he cleave to a wife whose fathers right is above the husband? Capital no...honours your father and your mother that your days may be long....the honour you give them should not supersede that you give to your husband....you respect and honour your husband as unto the lord.....that is the biblical and right way....I personally will never allow my hubby disrespect my parents and thank God my husband has been sane this 12 years...I personally will not just rush into the car without finding out what happened.

  5. Too much sense abeg. See them choosing husbands upandan! I'm sorry for you people. Are you ppl so hungry that you will treat your horsebands like lords not caring about the respect and dignity of your own father ? Gosh! I've been married for 15 years and counting but the foolishness of my fellow women in that part of the world is epic. In yet to see una rival.. No wonder men over there treat you lots like second class citizens

  9. If you disobey your father, you're opening the door for your hubby and even his family to disrespect him. Have you considered that?

  10. If not that you are married and sharing a personal story, some jobless anonymous would have accused you of being me because of the 'writing style'

  11. The lady that gets in the car will have the biggest respect from her father. It is not disrespect. It shows she has grown to be a woman and years down the line the father will be proud of who he raised. Meanwhile, a good daughter will leave the husband and sneak back later to apologize to the dad. A reasonable father will understand bc where his life ends, her daughter's starts. Unless of course he has another husband for the daughter.

  12. NO is a word so powerful that only few dare to use it frequently. Saying NO to the father may hurt initially but the dad will respect the maturity of the daughter later.

  16. PL leave Ronalda to her opinion, after all the bible said "they are no longer 2 but 1 flesh, referring to husband and wife". The husband is the Lord over the wife, she is right by obeying her God.

  20. Then u go Waka come the man house later Abi?

  21. Lmao, Best answer 100%. Sit on the ground, fold hands on the head and cry.

Now let's not even talk religion yet, let's talk common sense. What's the worse that can happen in both cases?

Husband gets into the car and angrily drives off, not before telling you that since you choose your dad over him, now you stay with your dad! Do not step foot into his house until you and your dad comes to apologize and make Peace. ( you hurt his ego big time and he will never put you above any woman again)

Dad calls you back as you are walking away and tells you don't you dare and if you do, don't you ever come back into his house again. You  go home with husband, press his mumu button and you both come back to meet dad that night to apologize for both the argument and not obeying him. Husband tries to make it up to you for making you choose between him and your dad.

Which of this will common sense tell you is a lesser evil? By choosing to stay with your dad, you have escalated the problem.

  26. Get this into your head: men will ALWAYS support their mothers over their wives. They will never support their wives, even if they wanted to, their relatives and friends won't allow. Please women, support your family o. Don't mind all these men
